The Quinta da Marinha golf course was designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones and enjoys a fabulous position on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean near Cascais on the Lisbon Coast in Portugal. The golf course is an 18-hole, par 71 championship course, which has played host to numerous golf championships since its inauguration in 1984, including the Ladies Masters, the PGA Seniors Tour Championship and the 2007 Challenge Tour. The course is 5,870 metres (6,420 yards) in length and undulates through its beautiful natural surroundings offering breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Sintra Hills. The Lisbon Coast won the IAGTO 2007 Award for the ‘Best Established Golfing Destination Europe’.
