Description: |
Ammaia Golf Club covers 137 hectares (339 acres) and is set in the truly beautiful surroundings of the São Mamede Nature Reserve. The golf course was designed by Jorge Santana da Silva and inaugurated in 1997 and was built on an old Roman town, the ruins of which can still be seen to this day scattered around the course. With undulating greens, various bunkers and four lakes, the course makes for a unique golfing destination. The Ammaia Golf Club is linked to 3 neighbouring Spanish courses at Badajoz, Cáceres and Mérida.
